The Internet was once a place of limitless freedom, where we could click through countless websites undisturbed. But this era may soon be a thing of the past, because a menacing force called artificial intelligence (AI) has opened the battle for the free Internet.
Recently I came across an article by interestingengineering.com where it was about AI being able to create images that don't exist, while it might still be amusing to see how Trump arrested by police becomes, or the Pope on fashion icon AI can or could be used to create images that do not exist in a context that is dangerous for everyone. ChatGPT and the trolley problem, why didn't I think of it myself? The Trolley problem is a moral-philosophical mental game, where a person steers a carriage/trolley and must set the switches, depending upon how one sets the switch, gives a consequence, this consequence must be able to weigh in the best case fast. Gladly this is treated in the area of ethics and morals.

Now, more and more people, including public figures, e.g.. Elon Musk, Steve WozniakThe AI Labs of the U.S. have drawn attention to the issue and issued a public letter urging AI labs to temporarily halt research and training of AIs more powerful than GPT-4, effective immediately.
I signed this public letter as an entrepreneur and developer because I see the dangers and without regulation we should not continue to develop this technology because the downside and its impact will affect everyone in the world.

We call on all AI labs to immediately pause for at least 6 months the training of AI systems more powerful than GPT-4.
